Wikipedia - Preiļu BJSS
Preiļi BJSS is a Latvian football club, playing in the second-highest division of Latvian football (1. līga). They are from Preiļi.
History
In 2008, Preiļi BJSS promoted from the 2. līga to the 1. līga. The team had a very successful season, winning almost all their games.
Their first season in the Latvian League one was largely unsuccessful. Preiļi had a few good games. The most surprising was the game against Latvian Cup winners FK Jelgava when the game ended 3–3. Preiļi ended the 2009 season just 2 points ahead of the relegation zone. The 2010 season in the 2.līga wasn't successful. The team had problems with their roster and Preiļi ended the season last, in 5th place.
O Preilu BJJSS é um clube de futebol lituano sediado na cidade de Preilai. Atualmente o clube disputa a II Lyga, correspondente à terceira divisão do futebol lituano.
O FK Preilu foi fundado em 1992 e estreou na A Lyga, primeira divisão nacional, na temporada de 1993, onde permaneceu por apenas duas temporadas. Em 1995, o clube foi promovido de volta à A Lyga, mas foi rebaixado duas temporadas depois.
O Preilu voltou à elite do futebol lituano em 2001, onde se manteve por seis temporadas. A melhor posição do clube na primeira divisão foi um quarto lugar, alcançado em 2003 e 2004.
Em 2007, o Preilu foi rebaixado à II Lyga e, desde então, nunca mais retornou à primeira divisão. Atualmente, o clube disputa a II Lyga, correspondente à terceira divisão do futebol lituano.
O Preilu BJJSS manda suas partidas no estádio Preilu Stadium, que tem capacidade para 1.000 torcedores.
